When do I place orders?
There are three distinct types of orders, fashion, basics and seasonal stock. Orders for fashion, known as indent orders, are placed twice yearly. Orders for summer delivery are placed in February/March while winter delivery orders are placed in July/August.
Basics are available to order all year round, once the order is received it is usally processed within a week and dispatched once payment has been received.
Seasonal orders are available early in the season and only available if stock exists. Please contact Hipp Fashion agency for further details.
What happens after I place my order?
Once the order is placed with Hipp Fashion agency, it is passed onto the manufacturer for processing along with other orders received during the sale period. The manufacturer collates the orders and initiates production of the garments. This process takes place very shortly after the closure of the selling period.What if I wish to alter my order?
Changes to orders may be made within 7 days of placement of the order. Changes must be in writing and addressed to the Hipp fashion agency. Please note you will be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel your order after the agreed period.Do I need to complete any paperwork to purchase?
All new retailers are required to complete account application forms. Since all companies have their own application forms it's likely you will be requested to complete a form for each supplier.What information is required to complete the account application form?
You will need information such as: Shop name, address, phone numbers, fax, email address, your Australian Business Number(ABN), bank account details and 3 trade references. The trade references must include company names, addresses and contact information.Are there any special conditions if I purchase from a company that I haven't worked with previously?
The majority of companies will request that you pay for your order "proforma". Proforma payments are payments made to the company before the your order is delivered. Prompt payment of proforma accounts offers the opportunity to secure your stock and assist you with moving to a 30 day account with the company.How do I move to a 30 day account?
Once you have established a proven payment record and your credit application has been approved, most companies will place you on a 30 day account.A number of companies have discounts for early payment of accounts.
